Aitken Spence Conventions facilitates Cyber Security Week 2016

Aitken Spence Conventions and Exhibitions, the event management arm of Aitken Spence Travels was appointed as the event management company of Cyber Security Week (CSW) 2016 for the ninth consecutive year by the Sri Lanka Computer Emergency Readiness Team (SLCERT).


CSW is conducted annually by ICTA in conjunction with SLCERT local and foreign security experts since its inception in the year 2008 to address the lack of awareness on information security in the country ahead of its impending IT revolution.


“We are proud to have been trusted by SLCERT for their annual event ‘Cyber Security Week’ for the ninth consecutive year as the professional 
conference organizer. 


This emphasizes the trust, confidence and professionalism on both parties as it is always won on a bidding process. We have already handled a few of the core events of the program which included the hacking challenge & cyber security quiz. The conference was held on the 02nd of November at the BMICH, followed by workshops held on the 03rd, 04th and 05th of November at the SLIDA Distance Learning Centre in Colombo. The event attracted the attention of the IT community of the country that is concerned on the cyber security for government, commercial and personal use given the increased attention paid towards information security in recent years.


Aitken Spence Conventions and Exhibitions counts over 25 years of experience and has won the Presidential award for the Best Professional Conference Organizer.
