CADD Centre holds first National Awards Ceremony

Master franchisee CADD Centre Lanka (Pvt) Ltd held its first-ever CADD Centre National Awards Ceremony in Sri Lanka at the Bandaranaike Memorial International Conference Hall (BMICH)  recently with renowned Architect and Chamber of Construction Industry of Sri Lanka (CCI Sri Lanka) President Dr. Surath Wickramasinghe gracing the occasion as Chief Guest. 


The event was attended by EWIS Group Chairman / CEO Sanjeewa Wickrmanayake, CADD Centre Lanka Managing Director Ajith Amarasekera, CADD Centre India Head of International Business Shibu Peethambaran, Senior Manager (Operations) Rajendra Nalluri and other distinguished guests.   
CADD Centre Lanka (Pvt) Ltd is a part of EWIS group having over fourteen years of professional career development experience as an institute conducting internationally recognised courses of world renowned software giants which are also key affiliation partners i.e. Autodesk, Dassault Systems, Bentley, PTC, Cadence, Oracle etc. 


CADD Centre India was established in India in 1986, as a professional training body for CADD and Project Planning & Management (PPM) courses. It is the master franchisor of CADD Centre Sri Lanka and has a network of over 400 franchise centres in India. Its  international franchisee network spreads over 25 countries including Sri Lanka, Malaysia, Africa, Qatar, Singapore, United States etc. CADD Centre is regarded as Asia’s largest CADD and Project Management training provider because of its large franchise network and its 25 years of existence and experience.   


Speaking at the CADD Centre Award ceremony, CADD Centre Lanka (Pvt) Ltd., Director Manuja Somarathne said, “Awards are given to students of CADD Centre Lanka who have performed well in the industry both globally and locally. It is also an occasion to recognise our corporate and industry associations which have been working closely with CADD Centre for the past fourteen years to build the CADD Centre brand in Sri Lanka”.


At the award ceremony several awards and certificates were given in recognition of students who had completed the programme in 2015 and other stakeholders. Some of the award categories won at the award ceremony by stakeholders are – Most Valuable Student Award by renowned Sri Lankan Architect A. C. Liyanage, Best Student Award by Nishika De Silva, Longest Dedicated Service Award by Amila Amarathunga, Best Institutional Award by HNDE Mattakuliya, Best Exhibition Partner by INCO 2015 and Best Industry Representative Body by CCI Sri Lanka. Students of all CADD Centre Lanka branches in Colombo, Kandy, Kurunegala and Jaffna along with distinguished invitees participated at the award ceremony.
