Duo Software awarded Gold, Merit at NBQSA 2016

One of Sri Lanka’s leading providers of enterprise solutions for the Asia Pacific region, Duo Software (Pvt.) Ltd, has been awarded the Gold award under the Communications Applications category at National Best Quality Software Awards 2016 (NBQSA) held recently, whilst receiving two Merit awards under the categories of Research and Development and Tools and Infrastructure Applications. 
The NBQSA, an annual event, held over the past 18 years to provide recognition to individuals and organisations that have contributed to the development of the information communication technology (ICT) industry in Sri Lanka is organised by the Sri Lanka section of BCS - The Chartered Institute for IT. The acknowledgement received by the NBQSA is considered as the ‘seal of excellence’, which enables local ICT products to gain recognition in the international arena. 
FaceTone, one of Duo Software’s core products, received the Gold award. Developed as a communication and collaboration platform, FaceTone provides users the capability of operating and running a contact centre and customer service operations efficiently while saving costs and maximizing revenue opportunities. FaceTone turns mountains of data such as total number of calls, calls on queue, active calls, dropped calls and answered calls into actionable insights, which will give real-time pulse of the call centre operations.
FaceTone is integrated with various social media platforms, supporting businesses to be informed on customer behavioural on social media and develop online presence to increase customer loyalty. With FaceTone, the user can create, manage and monitor call centre operations from any mobile device, allowing to serve the customers more effectively and efficiently. 
No matter the size of the business, FaceTone is engineered by including a variety of tools in one single platform, allowing users to customize. FaceTone also has been nominated for Asia Pacific ICT Alliance Awards (APICTA Awards), which is to be held in December in Taiwan for the 16th consecutive year, where more than 17 member nations compete for over 200 products and services.
SmoothFlow, which won the Merit award, is a cloud-based code development and workflow executor designing tool, requires minimum knowledge on programming whilst ‘DigIn’, which received the second Merit award, is a cloud-based end-to-end analytics platform, which allows the users to visualize the structured and unstructured data in one place.

The company was awarded Gold also in the year 2012 at the NBQSA for, DuoSubscribe v.5 under the Infrastructure Tools and Apps category, whilst winning the overall ‘Silver’ award.
