HTC with SLT Mobitel launched a range of smartphones in Colombo recently which are: HTC 10, HTC One X9, HTC Desire 628 and HTC Desire 630.
“Our new range of smartphones delivers the best of both the world’s combining distinctive design with powerful processing capabilities, without compromising on features and specifications,” HTC South Asia President Faisal Siddiqui said.
He said that they were looking forward to have 10 percent of market share in Sri Lanka.
Softlogic Communications (Pvt.) Ltd Managing Director Ranjan Perera said that the two points which had got right with HTC were its amazing portfolio of products and the right pricing.
South East Asia Director Rengeeth Nair said that simplifying the user experience they provide an immaculate touch screen experience and the smartphones include the most refined metal unibody ever.
HTC 10 specialises in its camera, audio and metal unibody design. It was noted that it was designed to handle everyday knocks bumps and scratches as it was subjected to temperature tests and over many drop, bend, scratch and corrosion tests.
It will be available in topaz gold for Rs.99,990.
HTC One X9 has been designed giving a high-end silk, creating a softer, warmer and more luxurious finish to the phone, according to the company. It has a glass curved front, at 75.9mm and a 5.5-inch full HD screen. It comes in two colours, topaz gold and carbon gray which will be priced at Rs.56,990.
HTC Desire 630 is designed using a specially-created micro splash effect on the polycarbonate shell, making it both personal and unique. It includes a 5MP front facing camera and auto selfie and voice selfie modes.
It comes in a choice of colours, priced at Rs.29,990.
HTC Desire 628 has tow finishes which are soft matte and glossy finish. The dual SIM phone has a 13 megapixel main camera and a five-inch HD display.
It comes in two colours, cobalt white and sunset blue, priced at Rs.33,490.
HTC, a Taiwan company, was found in 1997 and its portfolio includes smartphones and tablets.
