The speciality of Huawei P10 as noted was it comes with a Leica Dual-Camera 2.0 and the Huawei P10 Plus comes with a Leica Dual-Camera 2.0 Pro Edition, featuring artistic portraits with 3D facial detection, portrait enhancements, natural bokeh effect and Huawei hybrid zoom.
It was also noted that it comes with trendy colours and design, including the industry’s first hyper diamond-cut finishing and colour variants created in the first cross-industry partnership with Pantone.

Another feature of both the phones is the fingerprint sensor, replacing the navigation bar making the screen view bigger, while also making smart touch navigation gestures faster and more ergonomic.
0Co-developed with GoPro, both the phones also features a mobile editing tool, which creates a dynamic video of users’ images and videos complete with transitions and
music tracks.
At the event, Huawei also partnered with Dialog Axiata PLC as a network partner providing an opportunity for Dialog customers to experience the advantages of VoLTE technology with the new Huawei P10.
Dialog Axiata PLC Group Chief Technology Officer Pradeep De Almeida said that this is the first phone from Huawei that
supports VoLTE.
“You must have experienced when using 4G coverage, when you make a 4G call, what happen is, it falls back to either 2G or 3G because 4G was not capable of taking voice call. This VoLTE technology, which we launched last year with limited brands, enables to make voice calls. And today we are partnering with Huawei and Huawei has exclusively partnered with Dialog for this launch. Only Dialog has VoLTE technology at this moment, so with this technology, the voice call will not fall back, it will continue in 4G domain,” he said.
As Huawei had made a statement recently that it would be the number one in the world in the smartphone category, he said that Huawei is capable of doing that.
Talking about the prices, Huawei Device Sri Lanka General Manager Kalpa Perera said that the Huawei P10 will be priced at Rs.94,900 and the Huawei P10 Plus at Rs.109,900.
Singer Sri Lanka PLC Group CEO Asoka Peiris said that they are positive that the flagship Huawei P10 would give a new meaning to ‘affordable luxury’ in the
smartphone segment.
