Pristine Solutions, the local partner for ‘SAP Business One’, recently presented ‘Making the future, now’ which emphasised their recent achievements, current work, future plans and how it is supporting the businesses to grow.
SAP Business One is a business management software designed for small and medium sized enterprises, sold by the German company SAP SE. As an ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) solution it aims to automate key business functions in financials, operations, and human resources.
As clients go beyond automation to create new business lines, Pristine Solutions Pvt Ltd CEO Sanath Premachandra said that SAP Business One, help businesses to achieve their goals in terms of increasing revenue, reducing costs and improving their business process.
“It also supports new age businesses. SAP will help Sri Lankan companies to grow beyond what they used to see and will exceed their expectations,” he said.
Since august 2015, he said that they have achieved tremendous growth and remarkable achievements which have put Sri Lanka in the global map. He said that SAP has seen Sri Lanka as an important strategic location during the past few months.
He said that larger companies who have invested in SAP and have achieved significant improvement from their previous situations.
He said that other than providing necessary information and alerts for decision makers and management, processing data in organisation, SAP works beyond that, which made them chose the theme, ‘Making the future, now’.
Being a developing country, he said that Sri Lanka can still achieve and gain the benefits from the developed world by using this kind of software solutions. Further speaking he said that when looking at the number of customers who have invested in ERP Solutions in the last three years, more than 45 percent have invested in SAP Business One. He said that they are planning to cross 100 organisations during the year 2016, in Sri Lanka.
At present SAP Business One works with over 60 Sri Lankan companies which includes companies from healthcare, poultry, agriculture, apparel, trading etc.
Conveying future plans, the company said that they are looking forward to partner local telecom companies to introduce ‘Pay-Per-Use (Saas) solution’ of SAP Business One and also to engage with local universities, institutes and business schools to provide training and learning experiences.
Pristine introduced SAP HANA a version of SAP Business in 2013 to Sri Lanka, designed to meet the business needs of medium to large business and the advantage of this version as noted are; it’s fast application performance, speeding up sales and production processes, enhancing effectiveness in business and clients and reducing their technology ownership costs.
