Hirdaramani’s IT consulting arm, H ONE recently made history by winning the ‘Microsoft Office 365 Enterprise Partner of the Year’ award for the third consecutive year, at the annual Partner Awards Conference.
Winning one of Microsoft’s most prestigious cloud awards for three consecutive years is a rare feat which has further cemented H ONE’s position as the go-to partner for all things cloud.
H One is best known for its success in developing and executing complex cloud migration projects for leading corporates including John Keells Holdings, MAS Holdings, The Capital Maharaja Organization and Softlogic Holdings. H One has also earned significant recognition from Microsoft for its extensive testing and Research & Development initiatives on cloud technology.
The Cloud Team has transitioned over 25,000 users to the cloud in Sri Lanka, Thailand and Vietnam, across the banking, manufacturing, healthcare, retail, education and leisure sectors. The team also utilizes best practices from Microsoft’s Centre of Excellence for Office 365, which was responsible for Coca Cola’s global transition to the cloud.
Commenting on H ONE’s award win, Brian Kealey - Country Manager, Microsoft Sri Lanka, said, “We are proud of the impact that our partners have had on their customers and this award aims to recognize the efforts being made in Sri Lanka to develop important areas of innovation. I congratulate H ONE on its win and look forward to continuing our successful relationship to ensure even greater success in innovation for Sri Lanka in the coming year.”
Echoing similar sentiments, Samath Fernando - CEO, H ONE said, “We are honoured that Microsoft and our customers continue to place their trust and confidence in H ONE as the top-ranked cloud deployment partner in the country. This award is a reflection of our commitment to delivering comprehensive cloud solutions that truly change the way organizations do business. I’m very proud to say that we have some great success stories among our Sri Lankan clients, many of which could rival those around the globe.”
Samath Fernando, an ardent supporter of Sri Lanka’s growing reputation as an early adopter of technology, also serves as a leading authority to Microsoft’s South-East Asia partners and operations on the unique successes of Sri Lanka’s cloud transition model.
“The key to real success is the ability to adopt and adapt. It is only when organizations fully utilize their technology that they reap the benefits of their investments. H ONE has a team dedicated to Adaptation Services which drives department-wise utilization, facilitates culture change and creates awareness on efficiency and security best practices. The team measures success through various KPIs depending on the company’s strategic business vision, in order to show customers the return on their investment.” added Fernando.
Commenting on H ONE’s way forward, Fernando spoke about the transformative impact of cloud on small and medium sized businesses that still remain relatively cloud-shy. He stated, “While many of the large enterprises have embraced cloud wholeheartedly, many smaller businesses are still hesitant due to the perception that cloud is costly. We encourage them to talk to us. An organization can get the latest cloud productivity and collaboration tools for around the cost of providing employees with a cup of tea at work each day. You really can’t beat that.”
