Sri Lanka Telecom (SLT), the leading information communication technology (ICT) solutions provider and infrastructure services provider in Sri Lanka expanded its branch network to Mullaitivu with the opening of its most recent teleshop at P.W.D. Road, Mullaitivu Town, which will serve the growing number of customers in the Mullaitivu District.

At present, customers in the area need to travel long distances of approximately 60 kilometres to Kilinochchi in order to obtain services. With the opening of this latest teleshop, customers are given greater convenience and faster service provisioning and delivery. The teleshop will provide the full range of teleshop services and facilities including the provision of new connections, bill payments and fault reporting as well as the purchase of equipment.

A special opening ceremony was held in honour of the occasion in the presence of SLT Group CEO Dileepa Wijesundera, SLT Chief Regional Officer Chinthaka Wijesooriya and other SLT officials.

Giving his comments on the expansion of SLT’s teleshop network to Mullaitivu, Wijesundera said, “We are constantly expanding our network of teleshops to get closer to our customers and increase convenience to them. This will ensure faster delivery as well. Our customer base in the Mullaitivu District has been growing and this new teleshop will help us to better serve this growing base of customers in the area. This will also help us to showcase our latest products and services to customers quickly.”
