Who said gaming was a waste of time? Sri Lanka Telecom (SLT) is pioneering Sri Lanka’s first-ever gaming tournament with its next-level fibre optic broadband and the winners will be walking away with more than a sense of accomplishment.

Titled ‘SLT e-Sports Championships’, both individual gamers and clans are welcome to take part in this mega event and go head to head in a test of skill and strategy. Prior registration is needed for team challenges, while individual titles require walk-in registration. The various games are as follows:
Team titles: Counter Strike: Global Offensive, Dota 2, Halo 3 and League of Legends.

Individual titles: FIFA 15, Grid: Autosport, Mortal Kombat X and Battlefield 4.

The winners will walk away with total of more than one million cash prizes. All judging and game management will be conducted by Redline Technologies and XiphoseSports - SLT’s partners for the event and game changers in their own right.
