Workplaces of tomorrow are about progressive technology of mobility: Etisalat Lanka CEO

Etisalat Lanka recently hosted a forum for their valued enterprise customers highlighting the theme of “Future Enterprise Business with Total Mobility”.
Held at The Kingsbury, Colombo the forum was attended by distinguished IT heads from key corporate establishments of Sri Lanka, corporate clients as well as national and government institutions.
Inaugurating the forum was the Chief Executive Officer of Etisalat Lanka, Wail Salman who highlighted the importance and significance of mobility and the current trends seen over time in the Sri Lankan telecommunications industry. This was followed by the keynote speech by the Chief Commercial Officer of Etisalat Lanka, Janaka Jayalath who further had an interactive discussion with the Director General of the Department of Pensions, Sunil Hettiarachchi on mobility in the government sector.
The forum’s second phase; the thematic panel discussion commenced thereafter and was moderated by Executive Vice President and Group Chief Information Officer of John Keells Holdings PLC, Ramesh Shanmuganathan.
The distinguished panelists joining in the discussion were; Director of Microsoft Sri Lanka Wellington Perera, Chief Information Officer of Aberdeen Holdings and Director of Brantel Pvt. Limited Dr. Tariq Marikar and Chief Information and Technology Officer of Etisalat Lanka, Chandana Gunasekara.
Key topics discussed by the eminent panelists included global mobility and trends, future mobility and cost optimization - which provided a comprehensive understanding on the future of business mobility for those who attended the forum.
