We have already discussed the results that the Sun and the Moon produce in conjunction with the other planets in two previous articles. We propose to discuss the results that Mars produces in conjunction with other planets in this article.

Mar s- Mercury:  This is a very favourable combination that makes the native very dynamic and energetic.  Savants of Astrology   describe Mars- Mercury Samyoga as a fine blend of dynamic action with the knowledge of science and mathematics.  They say this Samyoga produces great engineers, physicians, surgeons, astronomers, Astrophysicists, and mathematicians.  If this conjunction occurs in a good House, the native would definitely become an outstanding scholar in the fields of science and mathematics.  If the conjunction is afflicted, the native would become a very clever cheat or a fraudster who lives by his wits. 

Mars- Jupiter:  This is also a very favourable conjunction which is often referred to as Guru- Mangala Yoga.  If it occurs in a good House with beneficial aspects, native would be a forward-looking person of indomitable courage. He would be fiercely independent. . He would possess such great qualities and psychic powers he would easily win others over to his way of thinking.  He possesses a sharp intellect and perception and oratorical skills. He would cause no harm to anyone, nor would he tolerate any violent action towards him either.

If this conjunction is afflicted, the native would be a prodigal person.  He would be eternally in financial difficulties. He would lose at cards; However, he would have the guts to face  any difficult situation.  If the conjunction occurs in a sign friendly to both planets, the native would be a righteous person. 

Mars- Venus: This is also a good combination – a blend of dynamism and drive of Mars with the finer qualities of Venus. Native would become a peace-lover and a bold and courageous person.

However, he would be a passionate person bent on seeking sensual pleasures.  Mars- Venus combination makes a person physically strong. If the conjunction is not afflicted, the native would be a happy-go-lucky playboy. 

However, he could be a successful businessman or an entrepreneur. He would be popular among the fair sex.  However, the native’s married life would be a failure if the combination occurs in the Lagna or the 7th House.

Mars – Saturn: A person born with this conjunction, would acquire good qualities like forbearance, patience, and retentive power. He would enjoy robust health. He would be economical in the use of his wealth.  If the conjunction is afflicted, the results would be disastrous. 

  People with an afflicted Mars- Saturn conjunction could become ruthless mass killers. If these planets occupy the 2nd or the 8th House, the native would suffer from hypertension.  If Saturn as the 2nd lord conjoins with Mars in whatever House, the native would suffer from this ailment. He would even suffer from dementia.

Mars – Rahu:  Native becomes very dynamic and energetic when Rahu conjoins Mars in a sign. These two planets would cause some injury or a fracture to the part of the body (Kalapurusha) which the House where the conjunction occurs represents.  If this conjunction is afflicted by malefic aspects, the native would fall victim to serious accidents when he runs their Maha Dasa and Antar Dasa separately or in combination. Native’s school career would come to an end in such a situation. 

Mars – Ketu: This conjunction makes the native an invalid due to weakening of red corpuscles in the blood. He would be deprived of marital happiness due to physical weakness.
