Savants of palmistry say that it is impossible to say what a person’s profession or occupation is by the shape of the hand, but it would definitely indicate for what profession or occupation he or she is best suited. 

Fingers are square, lines of Apollo and Saturn are distinct, and the Mount of Mercury is prominent

The characteristics of the hand of a subject which indicate what profession or occupation he or she is best suited for as follows:

Hand of a businessman: Thumb is large and long, the Head line is straight, finger tips are square, Mercury finger is long and square, and the Mount of mercury is well-developed. 
Hand of an Accountant: Mount of Mercury is prominent, lines of Apollo and Saturn are distinct and deep, second knots well-developed and the Thumb is strong.

Hand of an Architect: Fingers are square, lines of Apollo and Saturn are distinct, and the Mount of Mercury is prominent.

Hand of a lawyer/ judicial officer:  Finger of Jupiter is well-formed, Mount is Jupiter and Mercury are well-developed, the second phalanx of the Thumb long and broad, the first phalanx of Mercury is long, and the lines of Head, Saturn and Apollo are clear and deep.
