Signs and lines on the Mount of Moon

Readers are reminded that the Mount of Moon is the pad located between the Head Line and the Life line at the percussion of the hand below the Mount of Upper Mars.  

Description:  A single long vertical line on the Mount 
Result:  Indicates presentiment of something evil to happen. 

Description:  A single vertical line and a shirt line crossing it especially in the middle portion of the Mount. 
Result:  Prone to chronic rheumatism or gout. 
When the Mount is not well developed:  facing danger of bodily harm

Description:  A cross on the Mount when there is a break in the Heart line under the Mount of Sun. 
Result:  Fatal aneurism (excessive enlargement of artery) due to gout. 

Description:   Many confused lines on the Mount.
Result: Prone to vision, insomnia and nightmares 

Description:  Horizontal lines staring from the percussion.
Result:   Voyages – travels to foreign lands beyond seas.
If the lines are crossed or islanded:  voyages or foreign travels prove to unpleasant and dangerous.

Description:  Many confused and crossed lines on the Mount when a sloping starred, or chained line of Head is present. 
Result:   Tendency to insanity.

Description:  Many confused and crossed lined when there is a chained or islanded line of Heart. 
Result:  Inconsistency in love affairs. Lasciviousness. 

Description: A series of crossed or confused lines on the upper part of the Mount.
Result: Chronic diarrhea
If the lines take the form of a grille:  Intestinal troubles of a very grave nature.
