He's behind Rebel Wilson's incredible 20-kilo weight loss
Celebrity personal trainer JonoCastano, who's behind Rebel Wilson's stunning 20-kilo weight loss transformation, has revealed his top health and fitness tips.
The 29-year-old, from Sydney, said the Pitch Perfect star is 'definitely' the most famous client he has worked with, and is eager to potentially go to the United States. 'It's definitely taught me to be able to cater to someone like Rebel, in terms of having someone of that level, who is able to trust you and also become amazing friends and grow such an awesome relationship through training,' he told US TODAY.
'It's also taught me that I want to be able to work with more people like Rebel, and want to move to Los Angeles to have the chance to kind of showcase who I am and my ability to work with people like that.' For those looking to lose weight, Castano shared his five tips - including documenting fitness goals on social media, and 'move' at least 45 minutes a day.

02 Control your portions
Rather than eating three main meals per day, Castano recommends consuming six smaller portions to ensure you are full throughout the day and don't snack. 'Eat to be satisfied, not full,' he said.
'When we tend to eat, we eat to be full. But what we should be doing is to eat regular meals throughout the day to remain satisfied. So you don't have to starve yourself, but you don't have to make yourself full as well, so eat to be satisfied instead.'
'Eat to be satisfied, not full,' he said
03'Move' for 45 minutes a day
While it's recommended to do at least half an hour of exercise each day, Castano's approach promotes a #45Daily idea, which involves working out for 45 minutes or rethinking how you move.
'Don't just jump in your car, like even if it's Uber or whatever it is, think of different ways to get to your destination. Maybe it's a walk,' he said
'I think that's a great thing as well because I'm a big believer that #45Daily, so include 45 minutes into your day where you are moving.'
He also shared a weekly fitness schedule that's similar to one Rebel follows, which includes high-intensity interval training (HIIT) on day one, weights/resistance on day two, mobility/recovery on day three, HIIT on day four, HIIT/weights on day five, recovery on day six and HIIT on day seven.
04 Workout with fitness apps
Working with tech tools such as fitness apps is a great way to keep track of your daily workouts and diet.
Castano recommends downloading apps that are free or have a free trial, including calorie counter My Fitness Pal.
'You can set your goal and then it'll basically give you a breakdown in terms of how much calories you need to intake per day,' he said.
This tip is a fantastic way to ensure you're not overeating, are consuming the right foods and burning enough calories during workouts.
05Create your own home gym
As the COVID-19 pandemic continues and many gyms remain on restricted hours, Castano recommends investing in a home gym rather than paying for a membership.
This way gym equipment will be more accessible and no travel time is required.
He also recommends purchasing dumbbells and kettlebells, as several different exercises can be done to train different parts of the body.
'With those you could do so many different movements and do so many different workouts with, so you're not only investing into your own gym, you're investing in yourself as well,' he said.
