Defence Secretary Maj. Gen. Kamal Gunaratne recently hailed the entire ‘Rookada Panchi’ team for creating a cinematic piece that would linger in the memories of filmgoers. He was among the special guests invited to the film’s premiere at Regal cinema, Colombo.

“Besides the directors Kalpana and Vindana Ariyawansa, the role played by all cast members especially Jackson Anthony is outstanding. I was touched by the roles played by the two little kids too. This film is not only for children but for the entire family because it carries a strong message to people,” he said.
