Peony:  This flower is very special in Feng Shui and represents romance, love and relationship. The flower is said to ignite passion and great love, hence having this in the home brings in the type of energy into the home and life of the occupants. Displaying images of Peony flowers or even placing silk peony flowers are said to be equally potent.

Orchids:  Orchids are very popular and many homes grow orchids and it is an art to create the right environment for the orchids to bloom. The purple orchids which signify metal elements are very good enhancers in the North and Northwest sectors of the home. These flowers enhance career success and usher in new opportunities into the life.

 

 

Flowers are said to bring in good luck, blessings, beauty, grace and abundant positive chi into the home which can transform the energy of a space and make it vibrant. In the Science of Feng Shui four flowers have great importance and have special meaning too. The most important of all the flowers are the four flowers, Lotus, Peony, Chrysanthemum and Orchids. Flowers invoke the same feeling that exist in all human beings  and they signify a feeling of beauty, grace and life.


Live flowers are quite potent when compared to artificial flowers and bring in a strong healing energy, however sometimes artificial silk flowers and paintings are also used in Feng Shui decor. 


The Number four in Feng Shui also implies the celestial blooms which attract prosperity, and activate good relationships. It is said that just having these four types of flowers in a home can enhance the energy in all the four seasons. Flowers blooming perennially are a sign of good luck manifesting in the home hence having such flowering plants are considered highly potent. Each of these four flowers has their inherent quality and meaning.

 

 

Chrysanthemum:   These are very special flowers of wealth, and especially the yellow chrysanthemums are great harbingers of big wealth and happiness. The colour yellow can balance the emotions and draw focus to the wealth aspects in the lives of the people. These flowers have special significance during the Chinese lunar New Year as each home tries to decorate the foyer with such flowers during the first fortnight of the lunar New Year  to invite prosperity and wealth into their lives.

 

 

 

 

Lotus: The lotus flower symbolizes purity and true love. It also represents perfection and dedication; hence most often in many religions this flower is used an offering. It also represents wealth and prosperity. When Lotus flowers blooms in the garden it implies that love, peace and harmony will blossom in the lives of the occupants of the home.
