Birthdays are one of the most joyful days that bring about wonderful feelings and happy thoughts, but for glamour icon Glenda Parthiban dubbed ‘Pink in Colombo’ , her birthday celebration last week was just limited to two – she and her husband Mathi. “Birthdays are so special. It means a lot to me too.

One can celebrate a birthday with or without spending money. I too had plans to celebrate it with my office staff in the morning and an evening out with my family, but I had to forego them due to the current travel restrictions clamped for the benefit and safety of our own people. This virtual lockdown in a way gave me more joy especially by way of the showers of love and good wishes that came remotely from those closer to my heart. They were so pure and wholesome. It was one of the busiest days for me responding to calls and birthdays wishes on social media and other platforms. I shared the momentous day with my husband in a calm, cool and quiet manner, sharing love and care with all my well-wishers,” said Glenda.

“I have no regrets because staying safe is the most important element now,” she said.

Former Emphasis Head Glenda Parthiban who created the first glamour website for a Sri Lankan artiste by crafting the official website of popular actress Yashoda Wimaladhrma as her maiden mission, is now drawing attention by adding colour to the glamour world with her Pink in Colombo concept on social media platforms.
