Jackson Anthony ready to unspool ‘Eka Gei Sokari’

Award-winning actor and filmmaker Jackson Anthony is all set to release his newest movie ‘Eka Gei Sokari’ soon, giving local audiences a new cinematic experience. Jackson Anthony has scripted and directed the movie touching upon the marital tradition of ‘Polyandry’ that existed in the country decades ago. The film is centered on a family living in a remote village.

Udari Warnakulasuriya,  Akhila Dhanuddara, Sajitha Anuththara, Wilson Gunaratne, Terry Jayasinghe, Ruwan Perera, Senali Fonseka, Ariyaratne Kaluarachchi, Sampath Tennekoon, Susila Kottage, Ruwan Wickremasinghe, Lalith Rajapakshe, Ivan Anthony and several others play the key roles in the movie produced by Creative Helanka (Pvt) Ltd.
Channa Deshapriya has handled the cinematography, Chinthaka Jayakody the music direction, Tissa Surendra the editing while Dinusha Rajapathirana is the Executive Producer.
Sarath Senaratane has assisted in the direction while Harsha Manjula is the make up artist, Dhammika Hewadunna the art director, Prof. Ariyaratne Kaluarachchi the dance choreographer while Nilhan Seneviratne is the costume designer.
Harold Karunathilaka is the production manager and Dhammika Pathiratne the still photographer.
Madhavi Wathsala, Sajitha Anuththara, Dilan Karunaratne, Dinupa Kodagoda, Harshana Dissanayake, Chamila Madushan, Nadimal Perera, Ewanda and Dilmin Perera have contributed as playback singers.
