Jayasri Emathithuma coming on Sept. 6

Janitha Marasinghe’s long awaited political comedy ‘Jayasri Emathuthuma’ earlier scheduled for release in April this year, will now be releasing on Friday September 6, in the CEL circuit cinemas including Regal –Colombo, Lido – Borella and 50 cinemas island wide.

Sunil Perera of “Gypsies” popular theme song “Diyawannawe Thiyanne Monteisoriyak” which is now popular on social media is included in this film. 

The hilarious comedy movie directed by Nishantha Weerasinghe features Tennyson Cooray, Sriyantha Mendis, Kusum Renu, Damitha Abeyratne, Gayathri Dias, Lakshman Amarasekara, Ariyaratne Gamage, Jeevan Handunneththi, Shiromika Fernando, Prasad Galappatti and several others.

Janitha Marasinghe earlier produced movies like Mago Digo Dai, Kiwwwada Nahee Nokiwwada Nahee, Mage Yalu Malu, Address Ne and other films.
