Now Nicki Minaj has revealed her new Angry Birds 2 character, which shares the same accent.

The 36-year-old rapper and actress posted a trailer for the family-friendly film to Instagram on Wednesday.

Y’all wanted to hear my ugly voice in the trailer so here it goes,’ she wrote, followed by a tears of laughter emoji.

King Mudbeard (SNL’s Bill Hader) initially seeks revenge against the angry birds for destroying his homeland in the previous installment, but a new bird named Zeta (SNL’s Leslie Jones) threatens to turn the world into a sub-zero wasteland in revenge for being stuck for years on an Arctic island.

But the newest trailer mostly ignores the plot in favour of showcasing Nicki’s new character.

One short clip shows the new bird in a crowd scene as she points out the hero.‘Red’s gonna take care of us! Right, Red?’ she says, calling up to the bird as he emerges from a ship flanked by his comrades and wearing a yellow down jacket.But rather than making a heroic entrance, he trips on the slippery metal of the walk way and slides down into the snow.
