In order for energy to flow powerfully and for your space to support your mental and emotional well-being, the clutter must be cleared. The key is not just eliminating clutter from your environment, but from your mind and heart too. Success depends on concentrated effort. ‘A double-minded man is unstable in all his ways.’ So if you’ve been plagued by inconsistency lately concentration is probably what you’ve been lacking, then Feng Shui for your mind is very essential.

When the mind is not able to focus it gives rise to stress, irritation and at times arguments, this in turn leads to disharmony with people around, be it home or work place causing further harm to both the internal and external chi.

With changing times, the perception about relationships within a home also seems to be getting withered and in many homes the primary cause of unhappiness is due to a complex issue of ego, power, rigidity and anger which brings a crack in the relationships.

Adapting meditative techniques, serene colour schemes, whiff of freshness in the air and pleasant sound are all the general tenets of good Feng Shui to calm the mind and improve concentration. Many would find it difficult to adapt meditative techniques, yet one can achieve a lot through proper alignment of the living space and work space.

If a relationship appear to be  foreboding at home then one needs to inspect the South West sector closely. Southwest sector represents the matriarch’s corner and also symbolizes earth element. When excess arguments, unpleasantness and anger exists then its time to do a check especially in the SW sector.

In Feng Shui such arguments can be controlled by the use of  metal wind chimes in certain sectors of the home, placing ceramic Pagoda  at the south west  of the living or respective bedrooms which would  smoothen  the negative vibes or even placing a small bowl of water in the areas where arguments  start to quell the bad energy .
In addition to this, using plenty of incense or aroma sticks to dispel the negative chi and create a sense of peace soon after an argument can possibly help in restoring the balance.

Life is a wheel of fortune so unless your convictions are strong and consciously sure that you are not at fault, there is no point trying to get into a situation of hostility, arguments and blame game, lest we face a similar situation at a later stage in our lives. Learn to let go the negative vibes to make your life more meaningful filled with love not just for others but for yourself too.
