Saman Weeraman bids farewell

Well-known film director, screenplay writer and Nidahas Kala Sandanaya Treasurer Saman Weeraman passed away last Friday and his funeral took place at the Borella General Cemetery yesterday.
The veteran attorney also served as a member of the Southern Provincial Council from 1993 to 1998.
He was involved in movies like Kiri Madu Wel, Sri Siddhartha Gautama, Aloko Udapadi, Ayu, Nidahase Piya, Akarsha and others in various capacities.
