‘The Barnhouse in Kiriberiya, Panadura is the very first hospitality brand in Sri Lanka to conceptualise environmentally-responsible architecture. Their latest project ‘Sherwood by The Barn’, Sri Lanka’s first ever sustainable and climate-friendly event venue, opened recently neighbouring The Barn House, marking a new era in Sri Lanka’s event industry. By using salvaged shipping pallets as the main material of construction, ‘Sherwood by The Barn’ has demonstrated the potential for upcycling to not only reduce waste and conserve natural resources, but also create unique and visually appealing buildings.
