Barista introduces ‘Cool Yourself’ beverage range

As the hot rays of the summer sun pour down on the city and vacation mood kicks in, Colombo’s favourite coffee house chain Barista Lavazza is offering the perfect solution to beat the heat. The latest ‘Cool Yourself’ beverage range is a combination of Barista’s signature coffee drinks with a twist and their own take on truly tropical concoctions.
Start the day with a cup of Bulletproof Coffee, a drink made of Espresso blended together with unsalted butter and Virgin Coconut Oil, garnished with a little bit of Cinnamon powder to spice it up. This is the perfect wake-up call for a busy day at the office.
For those who prefer a cold coffee for the mornings, Barista Lavazza introduces Iced Caramel Macchiato, a combination of rich, full-bodied espresso with vanilla syrup, milk and ice, topped off with a drizzle of caramel for an oh-so-sweet finish.
The Espresso Soda combines traditional espresso, ice cubes, lemongrass extract for an added tinge and aloe vera topped up with soda. This is surely a healthy breakfast on the go.
Being a tropical island coconut is a staple in our diet and Barista Lavazza takes this all-important ingredient and mixes it up with espresso to create Coconut Café Latte, a lactose free but rich and creamy beverage.
If tea makes you happier than coffee then Barista Lavazza hasn’t forgotten you either with the freshly brewed green tea over ice and fresh lime slices. This is a zero calorie refreshing drink for all those weight watchers.
The fruit lovers are also well taken care of with a variety of new additions to Barista Lavazza’s already extensive beverage list. The Lime and Mint Crush tops the list with fresh lime and mint leaves blended with crushed ice, while the Water Melon Smoothie is a sure refresher. Orange, banana and a bit of ginger is blended with crushed ice to create the Ginger and Orange Smoothie that is both creamy and tangy. An abundance of real blueberries shaken up with ice-cream into a Blueberry Milkshake is loved by kids and kids at heart while the Tropical Freeze is sure to quench your thirst with its blend of mango 
and strawberry.
