BeWaxed introduces luxury wax range

Staff trained internationally in new waxing techniques

Colombo’s favourite personalized waxing salon recently added on a new range of luxury waxes formulated in Europe to its extensive portfolio of waxing-related services. The new range comes in the wake of the staff at BeWaxed returning from a specialized training programme in Thailand.

Together with the founder and owner of BeWaxed Durga Srivastava, Masha, Suneetha, Nadeesha, Carmaline and Madu travelled to the world-renowned WaxXXX Academy in Thailand managed by the Immanuel Beauty Training Centre Singapore. The Immanuel Beauty Training Centre in Singapore received the Top Excellence Award for the year 2014 and has been recognized over the years for its innovative beauty therapy and treatments.

Speaking after returning to the island after the training, Durga noted, “BeWaxed from its inception revolutionized how women take care of themselves. Previously most women were reluctant to visit salons to get waxing-related services as it is a very intimate and personal area of beauty treatment. However, at BeWaxed we ensure everyone is comfortable and this has been an integral part of why our customers have been with us for so many years. I am personally very proud of our girls who just completed this training programme, as it takes our services to another level and allows us to further enhance the service portfolio being offered to our loyal clientele.”

The three-day programme covered full-body and face waxing techniques. All five staff members were awarded a Certificate in Basic Body and Brazilian Waxing.

Upon returning to Sri Lanka, the new range of waxes, including the Perfect Pink, Perfect Blue, Perfect Scent and Rice Wax along with new international waxing techniques are used at the new salon recently relocated to No.6, Kirimandala Mawatha, Narahenpita.

Durga also recently launched a fully-fledged, easy-to-use website www.bewaxed.lk, which gives a comprehensive list of all the services offered at the salon. Open daily from 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., a prior appointment is recommended as the demand for international level waxing solutions increases.
