The BMICH, with its distinctive architecture and sprawling gardens, has been the setting favoured by the corporate sector for business events ranging from exhibitions to conventions and other special occasions.  It is the first purpose-built convention centre in Asia.

However, recently the grandeur of the location became the perfect setting for its first wedding in a decade.  It was a wedding that demanded the dignified ambience and the vastness that only the BMICH could offer because the guest list exceeded 2,000 persons.
The bride and groom greeted their guests in the spacious halls and the location glittered with beautiful décor and fragrant bridal blossoms appropriate for love and romance.

The official catering partner of BMICH, Mount Lavinia Catering Service laid out a delectable array for the wedding guests to make even the five-star service memorable and appropriate for the occasion.
“We chose the BMICH as the ideal venue for our wedding because not only is it seeped in history and has the splendour we wanted for our special day; it also had adequate space for our large number of guests,” explained the groom.
No doubt this wedding will set the pace for future bridal couples who can now choose the unique location renowned the world over, for their special day.

Offering exceptionally versatile and impressive settings, the BMICH venues are ideal for any occasion, from an intimate dinner to a lavish banquet, business conference or wedding. The purpose-built rooms have facilities to suit any setting enhancing any event. All Function Rooms too have also been renamed and primed to deliver a truly exceptional experience. BMICH is the proud winner of Gold Century International Quality ERA Award – Geneva 2016.
