Chinese ship will leave only on August 22

• Changes initial plan to leave by August 19

The Chinese research vessel ‘The Yuan Wang 5’ which initially indicated that it would leave on August 19, decided to stay until August 22 as originally scheduled, an official said. 

Harbour-Master Nirmal Silva told Daily Mirror yesterday the ship informed earlier that it would leave by August 19. However, he said he was informed once again on August 18 that it would stay till August 22.   
The ship was docked in the Hambantota port on August 16.
