First Kumbal Perahera to parade streets of Kandy tonight

The first Kumbal Perahera in the Kandy Esala festival will parade the streets of Kandy tonight (02).  
The Peraheras of the four Devalas would converge at the Sri Dalada Maligawa in the evening and the Kumbal procession would set off at the auspicious hour of 06.01pm today.  

The Kumbal Perahera would proceed along Dalada Veediya, D.S. Senanayake Veediya, Temple Road, Deva Veediya, Colombo Street, Yatinuwara Veediya and return through Raja Veediya..
