Letchumanar Sanjay meets IPU Director

The meeting between the Director of the International Parliamentary Union (IPU) and the youth leader of the upcountry People’s Front, Letchumanar Sanjay, took place at the headquarters in Geneva.   
During this, the political situation of the country and the political entry of the youth of the upcountry, the current state of Sri Lanka’s elections and the suppression of social media were discussed, and a request was made for international attention in this regard.   

The Director of the International Parliamentary Union has said that he has accepted this request and will discuss this matter in a meeting with the President of Sri Lanka.   

 Member of Parliament Nalin Bandara and Hector Appuhamy were present during this meeting.
