MP Wimalaweera Dissanayake says he and Namal are malnourished

• I don’t even eat Maldive fish. So I am now malnourished
• The weight lifting champion from Polonnaruwa, Chinthaka also eats only vegetables. He is also malnourished

SLPP MP Wimalaweera Dissanayake said that like himself, the former President’s son MP Namal Rajapaksa is also suffering from malnutrition.  

While answering a question raised by a journalist during a media briefing that Sri Lanka has come among the countries suffering from severe hunger, the MP said that not only in Sri Lanka, malnutrition has existed in the history of any country to some extent, but not as much reported by the media.  

“Now it is said that the prices of eggs, milk powder, fish and meat are high and people cannot afford them. I don’t even eat Maldive fish. So I am now malnourished. Namal Rajapaksa is also malnourished as he does not eat even a piece of Maldive fish. That weight lifting champion from Polonnaruwa (Chinthaka) also eats only vegetables. He is also malnourished,” the MP replied.
