SL Coastguard perform offshore oil spill response exercise

The Sri Lanka Coast Guard (SLCG) yesterday concluded offshore oil spill response exercise in the seas off Colombo harbour with the participation of Japan International Corporation Agency (JICA) and MCT-JCG members in collaboration with Sri Lanka Navy. During the training exercise, the SLCG demonstrated its capacity and confidence to response to an offshore oil spill positively.
