AAP celebrates 15th anniversary

Members of the Academy for Administrative Professionals (AAP) came together and celebrated its 15th Anniversary at Taj Samudra recently

 

 

Academy for Administrative Professionals (AAP) celebrated its 15th Anniversary at Taj Samudra recently.  It was a three in one felicitation that comprised the Convocation of Batch 18, Recognition of Founder Members and Christmas Splendor.  The three Cs, Convocation, Crystal Ball & Christmas Splendor were splendid with the ruby colour depicting fifteen years of sustainability.


AAP’s founder Dr Sunethra Nugawela was the Chief Guest and Nalin Gunaratne, Chairman of Green Link (Pvt) Ltd, was the Guest of Honour.  Dr Nugawela, in her key note emphasised on the evolution of thought; knowledge and the value of professionalism to develop like-minded professionals.  AAP was presented to administrative professionals as the base to explore opportunities, stretch potentials, aspirations and to turn dreams into reality.  The path is crystal clear now to gain recognition, qualifications, and to interact as a family of administrative professionals.  


AAP qualifications reached the pinnacle as the industry compulsory qualifications.


She congratulated the award winners and requested to keep educating themselves as it is a never-ending journey.  Ms Dilushi Dissanayaka was outstanding grabbing three prestigious awards on Attendance, Creativity and Batch Top, at the convocation. Founder Members Mrs Jennifer Fox, Diana Perera and Priyanka Gunawardana were recognised in appreciation of their immense contribution during the past fifteen years.  Her concluding remarks was “One child, one teacher, one book, one pen can change the world.” So Enter to learn. A special mention to the press and media, all stake holders, past present and future students who were commended for the support extended to AAP to maintain standards.  All deceased AAP giants including Prof. Carlo Fonseka were remembered.  


The academy entered into a partnership with Education Help Solutions (EHS). Deelaka Wanigasuriya Chairman EHS and Dr Sunethra Nugawela (AAP) represented each institution. Dilini Mendis and Diana Perera signed as the witnesses to the MOU.


The academy conducts on line studies at present and 2021 registrations for Secretarial, English, Sinhala Secretarial and front line courses are now on.
