Shankar’s 2020 International Children’s Competition

The Shankar’s 2020 International Children’s Competition organized by the Swami Vivekananda Cultural Centre (formerly the Indian Cultural Centre), High Commission of India, Colombo, has been rescheduled to Saturday, November 23, 2019 from 9.30 a.m. to 1.00 p.m at the SVCC, 16/2 Gregory’s Road, Colombo 07.  Children from all over the island are welcome to participate in the painting/ drawing/ writing competitions.
The topic for essay writing/drawing/ painting for the competitions will be “Earth is the only home we have, Treasure it”.

The Shankar’s 2020 International Children’s Competition in the categories of writing/ painting/ drawing, is open to children born on or after January 1, 2004. All the entries done by the children will be sent to New Delhi for the Shankar’s 2020 International Children’s Competition. Children who are interested in participating may register their names with the Centre (Tel. 011-2684698, Tele fax 2684697, e-mail [email protected]) and are requested to come to the SVCC at 9.00 am on November 23, 2019.
