dear Thathi of mine

In your embrace, dear Thathi of mine,
Love’s boundless grace, an eternal line.
With each heartbeat, my spirit swells,
In your presence, a story I long to tell.
In Buddha’s teachings, we find our way,
Compassion’s path, where hearts can sway.
Through gentle acts, we heal and mend,
Radiating love, gentle and kind.
You embody the teachings, day by day,
Kindness and compassion lighting the way.
Your heart filled with love, shining bright,
A testament to living the Buddhist life.
In cherished memories, we’ve shared our joys,
Through life’s storms, you’ve been my voice.
In your presence, I find solace and peace,
A love unspoken, but that will never cease.
You embody mindfulness in all you do,
Present in each moment, calm and true.
With a peaceful mind, you guide the way,
Teaching me to live in the present day.
So, dear Thathi, let this poem convey,
The depths of love I cannot truly express.
Forever grateful for your unwavering embrace,
May peace and joy be yours, in every place.
