128 out of 194 employees of iron factory test covid-19 positive

92 factory employees are Indian

The employees in a large-scale iron factory at Hekitta in Wattala were subject to antigen tests to find 128 out of 194 employees were COVID-19 positive. 

Administrative PHI Wattala MOH division Waruna Amarasekara said 92 employees in the factory are Indian.
The PHI said the infected employees were referred to treatment centres and the factory closed immediately. He said the rest of the employees were quarantined in the factory.
