The candidates contesting the forthcoming parliamentary elections are urged to submit their declaration of assets and liabilities along with their nomination papers, the Election Commission said.
In a special statement, the Commission said all the candidates representing main political parties and independent groups are required to submit their declaration of assets and liabilities.
Further, the members entering Parliament through the National List are also liable to submit their declaration of assets and liabilities. “The assets and liabilities should be submitted to the Returning Officers along with the nomination papers,” the Commission added. Meanwhile, the candidates of the recently concluded Presidential Election have also been urged to submit their campaign expenditure reports before October 13.
