Health authorities have identified 75 employees infected with the coronavirus from the garment factories in the Koggala Free Trade Zone by last morning.
Habaraduwa MOH Dr. Pamod Siriwardene said they were identified after PCR tests carried out in five garment factories and that more than 2,000 individuals including the members of their families and those associated with them had now been quarantined.
Dr. Siriwardene said all employees in the Koggala Free Trade Zone and those quarantined would be subject to PCR tests.
