All officers of Kamburupitiya Police Station quarantined

All officers in the Kamburupitiya Police Station including an ASP were quarantined and the police station  was disinfected when a senior police official was tested CORONA positive.   

SSP Matara Chandana Herath said that police officers from his office and several other police stations were deployed to cover up duties in the particular police station. He said 65 officers of Kamburupitiya Police and an ASP who had conducted the monthly inspection of the police station had been quarantined.  Meanwhile health authorities said the rate of CORONA infected in the Matara District had increased to 600 
by yesterday.
