An Inspiring photographic exhibition for a compassionate cause

This exhibition serves as a fundraising initiative for the “Little Hearts” project which is the construction of a state-of-the-art Cardiac and Critical Care complex at Lady Ridgeway Children’s Hospital (LRH) in Colombo by the Rotary Club of Colombo Centennial, scheduled for the 12th and 13th of October 2024 from 9am at the Lionel Wendt.  

Rotary for Little Hearts is steered by District Governor Rtn PHS Sushena  

Ranatunga, with the mission of raising US$1 million through Rotary District   

3220 Sri Lanka & Maldives to revolutionize pediatric cardiac care at LRH. The nearly completed 12-story facility still requires advanced, life-saving medical equipment to ensure that every child with a heart condition receives world class treatment.  

Every year, approximately 3,000 infants in Sri Lanka are born with congenital  

Heart diseases, many of whom cannot be adequately treated due to limited resources  

The new complex will significantly expand the ICU capacity and surgical facilities.  

In addition to its noble cause, the exhibition aims to promote photography as an art form in Sri Lanka. Twenty one professional photographers will showcase their work, at the exhibition, inspiring creativity and encouraging a deeper appreciation for photography.
