Arrested for rape of 60 year old

 A young man who entered a house at Ratmale in Parasangaswewa police area and raped a 60 year old elderly woman under death threat was taken into custody.  

The 27 year old suspect was a manual worker in the area   

 The victim who returned home after attending a religious ceremony had gone to bed at about 10.30 pm. The suspect had broken open a window and entered the bedroom and raped the woman.  The suspect was to be produced before Anuradhapura magistrate yesterday afternoon.   

 Parasangaswewa police had conducted investigations and arrested the suspect.
