Book launch and talks on “Old aged love and Morality” on February 25

Thilak Senasinghe’s latest novel “Jyeshta Purawesiyekuge Prema Kathawa”, themed on the challenge of entering a traditional old age in a society where Eroticism is ideal, will be released on Thursday, February 25, 2021, at 4.00 pm at Dr N.M. Perera Centre, Cotta Road, Borella. Mr. Praneeth Abhayasundara, Professor of Anthropology, University of  Sri Jayewardenepura, will deliver a short speech on “Old age, love and   Morality” and Mr Namal Wijayasinghe, Professor and Dean of the Faculty of Medicine, Sir John Kotelawala Defence University, will deliver a short speech on “ Is love inappropriate for the elderly?”  

The program is being conducted by Dr Ajith Amarasinghe, a history    researcher, and Sri Lanka Rationalist Association, which is organizing the event, urges those interested in the humanitarian and social phenomenon to join in the book launch and the conversation on quarantine rules and regulations.
