Ceremony to honour students in Chinese Cultural Art Competition

The Chinese Embassy in Sri Lanka, in collaboration with the Association for Sri Lanka – China Social and Cultural Cooperation, will host a prize-giving ceremony at the Royal Institute International Auditorium in Kohuwala, Nugegoda, at 3 pm today (7), for students from 11 schools who participated in the “China Through My Eyes” Chinese Cultural Art Competition.

The event will feature various artistic expressions, including Chinese paper-cutting designs, calligraphy, and other art-related projects, which were developed through practical workshops conducted for the students.

K.D.S. Ruwanchandra, Secretary of Transport, Highways, Ports, and Aviation, will be the Chief Guest of the event, while Mrs. Ji Lili, Cultural Counsellor of the Chinese Embassy, will be the Guest of Honour.
