Ms. Dunesha Silva, who was serving as a Proof Reader at the Daily Mirror Editorial passed away last week at the age of 40.
Popular amongst her colleagues as a loving and sincere friend Dunesha had worked for the Wijeya Newspapers Ltd for more than two years.
She resided in Thalpitiya South, Wadduwa and received her education at the Girl’s High School in Mt. Lavinia where she qualified upto A’Levels in the Biology stream.
After leaving school she qualified in a graphic designing course and was awarded Bronze Medal at a private institute. She was a good dancer and had knowledge in fabric painting too. Dunesha was employed at the publications of the Sunday Observer and Ceylon Today respectively before joining the Daily Mirror.
She was the only child of K. N. Ananda Silva and Wimala Nilanthie Silva.
