Vice Chairman of Airport and Aviation Services Ltd. Priyantha Kariyapperuma told Daily Mirror the airline carried out a test flight last Friday with officials of the Civil Aviation Authority on board to Chennai and he said it was a success.

“The airline will get the licence to operate flights from Jaffna to Chennai soon and will operate flights three times a week,” he said. He said the airline would deploy its ATR 72 aircraft.
