Group of 12 detainees sit for GCE (O/L) Examination

A group of 12 detainees educated at the Wataraka Suneetha Vidyalaya, in Padukka , the only education institute for prisoners, sat for the GCE (O/L) Examination at the Suneetha Vidyalaya examination centre .

The group of young detainees in the Watarama Open Air Prison Training School had been educated at the Suneetha Vidyalaya.Several others who had been released after serving their jail terms sat for the examination at the Suneetha Vidyalaya examination centre.

They were conducted to the examination centre by prison officials.
