Measures taken to boost immunity of Police officers: DIG Tennakoon

Western Province Senior DIG Deshabandu Tennakoon said necessary actions had been taken to up the immune system of the Police officers at a higher level.

While participating at an event organised at the Welikada police department to donate COVID safety jackets to front line Police officers by the Bodu Bala Sena (BBS) General Secretary Galagoda Aththe Gnanasara Thera, DIG Tennakoon said the Police officers had to keep contacts with the general public and the safety jackets would help them to protect them from the COVID virus.
