Nalin Bandara to reveal what he knew about Salley

SJB MP Nalin Bandara Jayamaha yesterday said he is willing to reveal what he knows about State Intelligence chief Suresh Salley if he is summoned by the CID to record a statement. 

Police Spokesman DIG Ajith Rohana said last week that CID will probe the statement made by the MP who alleged that Major General Salley had met Zahran Hashim. 

Meanwhile, SJB MP Kavinda Jayawardena said on Saturday that a statement should also be recorded from Minister Wimal Weerawansa who had said some in the government itself are trying to sweep the probe on Easter Sunday attacks under the carpet. “A statement should be recorded from Minister Weerawansa who had said few in the government especially those Muslim MPs who had joined the government to support the 20th Amendment are trying to sweep the probe under the carpet,” he said.
