No faith motion against Keheliya ready

The No confidence motion against Health Minister Keheliya Rambukwella is ready for the MPs to place their signatures, a Samagi Jana Balawegaya (SJB) MP told journlaists in Parliament yesterday.
 “MPs are to begin placing their signatures to the no confidence motion shortly,” he said.
 The motion says Parliament has no confidence on the incumbent Minister of Health since he is responsible for the current crisis in the health sector, as it was he who had allowed the usage of unregistered medicine which has caused allergies and apparent death to patients.  

The Minister came under heavy criticism by the Opposition SJB in the House yesterday as well. However Mr. Rambukwella said he is ready for a debate on the health issues in the House.
At the same time Opposition MP UdayaGammanpila has accused SJB of trying to help the government to get away by bringing in the no faith motion against the Health Minister.
