PM appoints new heads to four institutions

Prime Minister Mahinda Rajapaksa yesterday appointed new heads to four institutions under the purview of the Buddha Sasana, Cultural and Religious Affairs Ministry.   

Professor Gamini Adhikari was appointed as the Acting Director-General of the Central Cultural Fund, Douglas Siriwardhana was appointed as the Director of Tower Hall Theatre Foundation while Stella Marapana was appointed as the Chairman of the Public Performance Board. Meanwhile, Dr. Jayantha Dharmadasa was appointed as the Chairman, National Film Corporation (NFC)  while Rohan Weliwita was appointed as its Working Director.   
The appointments were made at Temple Trees in Colombo.
