Leaders of political parties which represent Parliament on June 7 2021 to decide on the fate of Parliament sessions next week in the wake of the government deciding to extend the travel restriction to June 14, Serjeant-at -arms Narendra Fernando said yesterday.
Fernando told Daily Mirror that Parliament will have to meet even if it is decided to call off sessions as per standing orders. “ Parliament will have to meet to adjourn as per the standing orders,” he said.
